Doug, just saying that the stage towers are perfect does not make it
so. I used the stage tower for a couple of years and got tired of
the down sides which I've mentioned to you many times, though you
choose not to hear me. Now I have moved on from the stage towers by
providing my own tower This works sooooo much better for me. I have
explained this to others like Brandon and they get it. I know that
finding a place to put it is hard for you Doug but that does not
mean that I don't have good reasons for using my own tower, to
phrase your argument like that is not respectful of my time and

want internet right away...you need an alternate location.
*Note: Last year, we did not have internet until mid Burn week
..so expediting your internet tower one day during Build Week,
ahead of the stage tower erection...does not mean internet
service will even be available for up to another week.

Last year was unusual in that I arrived mid week. I now have two
days to pack, Today and tomorrow. If you tie me up in a long
It's also true that we often can't get internet until later in the
week because BM IT is still getting set up. I can only hope that I'm
ready by the time they are. Last year we had burning Fi which did
work fine as soon as I was able to pick it up in Fallon NV. So if we
can arrange an alternate provider, then we can probably get the
internet set up earlier.
I'm happy to answer questions, but everyone is responsible for just
their area, and if you try to overload folks with a bunch of other
responsibilities then they will get burned out and leave. Like most
leads I am happy working on my area and getting it done as soon as I
can. I would think this is what you want since you say that internet
early in the build week is very important.
to be less in any foot traffic, but they still would take up
the extensive square footage and additionally, the new
container would need to be the wifi office. The Old Container
office was used for the wifi set up on the stage towers and
did require trenching of the wifi cables. As a secondary
location, the benefits of this new container site for your
wifi towers would be that no wires would need to be trenched.
The only down side is that...This new container was to be
available for shelve building so that we could begin packing
our "boneyard of storage supplies, prior to Sunday Tear down
Yep so maybe the new container is not the best place. I do like the
location because it's on the edge of the camp. I have one wifi radio
that radiates sideways so putting it on the edge of the camp works
well. However, I would be ok with putting the tower next to the
first container. The bottom line is I need an "office" for all the

location where we do not use the stage towers, would be to set
up your wifi tower at the other old container location, which
would require 3 guy wires extending 900 square feet in
circumference around the water systems, shower, and over the
evaporation ponds. The benefits are again no trenching. The
inconvenience would be that guy wires would be extended across
our water systems and evaporation ponds.

Yep. I wold consider adding a forth set of guy wires so that the
guys could be at 90 degrees instead of 120. This should make it easy
to put the tower in between four rectangular objects like RVs or a
container.
This location spread guy wires across 900 square feet of our
frontage and bikes could not pass easily under the guy wires,
presenting a potential safety hazard at night...even with
lights on the guy wires. This site also required trenching,
just like the stage towers.

Yep there is a ton of space out there. I would also like to find a
way around the trenching. Though at least we would need a power cord
out there. Not sure if I could swing that this year.
Sorry Doug please don't use specific failures of BM IT as arguments
as to why we should not be trying to do this right. BM IT is fully
committed to and tries as best they can to get wifi turned on
